• Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience: 2+ years in collections, preferably within insurance or legal settings; experience with auto accident claims is highly desirable.
• Skills:
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of insurance claim processes and legal procedures.
• Attention to detail with proficiency in case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Key Responsibilities:

• Claim Management: Review and process insurance claims related to property damage and personal injury from auto accidents.
• Collections: Initiate and follow up on collection efforts for unpaid balances, including negotiating payment arrangements and settlements.
• Communication: Liaise with clients, insurance adjusters, and attorneys to gather documentation and resolve discrepancies.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all communications, agreements, and payment activities in client management systems.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory standards governing collections and debt recovery within the insurance industry.
• Reporting: Prepare regular reports on collection status, case progress, and recovery efforts for management review.
