The Collections Analyst is responsible for managing and analyzing the company’s accounts receivable to optimize cash flow and minimize bad debt for North America. This role involves monitoring overdue accounts, conducting credit and collection activities, and collaborating with internal teams and customers to resolve payment issues efficiently and professionally.
The target pay range for this position is $22.00-$27.50 an hour. At Antech, pay decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, education, training and budget.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Monitor and analyze accounts receivable aging reports to identify overdue accounts and prioritize collection efforts.
Contact customers via phone, email, or written correspondence to collect outstanding payments and negotiate payment plans when necessary.
Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, disputes, and billing issues in collaboration with sales, billing, and customer service teams.
Maintain accurate records of collection activities, customer communications, and payment agreements.
Prepare regular reports on collection status, trends, and key performance indicators for management review.
Support the credit evaluation process by analyzing customer payment history and creditworthiness.
Collaborate with legal and finance teams to escalate delinquent accounts when necessary.
Assist in developing and implementing collection policies, procedures, and best practices.
Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards in all collection activities.
Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes related to accounts receivable.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Proven experience (typically 2+ years) in collections, accounts receivable, or credit analysis.
Strong knowledge of collection techniques, credit policies, and accounts receivable processes.
Proficiency with accounting software, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Working Conditions
The associate is regularly required to apply manual dexterity, including hand/wrist flexibility, for computer keyboarding. The associate frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The associate is frequently required to hear and speak in order to use the telephone, make presentations and communicate with people in an office environment. The associate is occasionally required to sit and stoop, bend, kneel, or crouch.
