About the Role:Fastest Labs of Frederick is looking for a detail-oriented and professional Collection Technician to join our growing team in Frederick, MD. Responsibilities:- Perform drug, alcohol, and DNA specimen collections following strict chain-of-custody procedures
- Conduct urine, oral fluid, and breath alcohol testing in compliance with DOT and non-DOT guidelines
- Accurately document and process collection paperwork and electronic records
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant collection facility
- Provide a professional and respectful experience for all clients and donors
- Communicate collection results and status updates to appropriate parties in a timely manner
- Adhere to all federal, state, and company privacy and confidentiality standards
Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience in specimen collection, phlebotomy, or a medical/clinical setting preferred
- DOT/DAPM collection certification is a plus (training may be provided)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise protocols
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in sensitive situations
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
