Collections Manager to lead and develop our collections department.
We're looking for a results-driven leader who thrives on accountability, coaching, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has a proven track record managing
first-party automotive collections, preferably in a
BHPH environment, and knows how to motivate a team while maximizing portfolio performance.
What You'll Do
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of collections specialists.
- Drive collection performance by monitoring KPIs, delinquency, and recovery rates.
- Hold team members accountable to daily and monthly goals.
- Handle escalated customer accounts and complex payment arrangements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Analyze performance metrics and implement strategies to improve results.
- Collaborate with sales, underwriting, and repossession teams to maximize portfolio performance.
- Foster a positive, high-accountability, results-driven culture.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of collections experience.
- Previous management or supervisory experience.
- Buy Here Pay Here (BHPH) collections experience strongly preferred.
- Experience managing first-party collections.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to analyze KPIs and use data to improve performance.
