Position: Collateral Analyst
Location: Plano, TX or Charlotte, NC
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
Contract Assignment: ASAP Start - 9/27/2027 (Potential Ext or Temp to Perm)

Hybrid — 3 days onsite / 2 days remote. Wednesdays are required onsite.

Pay Rate: $33.65/HR, Paid Weekly

 

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Collateral Analyst to support Asset Based Lending loan portfolios. This individual will analyze Accounts Receivable and Inventory collateral, review loan documentation, identify potential risk, and communicate findings with internal business partners and clients.

The hiring manager is especially interested in candidates with strong financial analysis experience and familiarity with technology platforms used for reporting, data extraction, and analytical review. Candidates should clearly list their location on their resume.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze Accounts Receivable and Inventory collateral supporting Asset Based Lending portfolios.
  • Determine eligible client collateral in accordance with credit agreement requirements.
  • Review client trends related to Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Inventory levels.
  • Review loan documents and client submissions for completeness, accuracy, and required formatting.
  • Identify, document, and escalate potential risks found within client loan-support documentation.
  • Extract, format, upload, and validate client report data across multiple lending lines of business.
  • Coordinate with internal servicing partners to obtain missing or incomplete documentation.
  • Partner with servicing teams to ensure accurate data extraction and reporting.
  • Create and update formulas within data-extraction tools used to upload client files into analytical applications.
  • Clearly communicate analysis, findings, and documentation needs to internal partners and clients.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong Microsoft Excel experience, including formulas and data analysis.
  • Experience reviewing loan documents or financial documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to identify discrepancies, analyze information, and escalate concerns appropriately.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Accounting or Accounts Receivable/Payable experience.
  • Financial analysis, collateral analysis, credit analysis, or lending operations experience.
  • Experience working with financial technology platforms, reporting tools, data-upload tools, or analytical applications.

Working Conditions:

  • May on occasion be exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels, such as from office equipment.
  • The ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Use of computers and technology.
