Overview
The Collateral Analyst supports Asset Based Lending loan portfolios through Accounts Receivable and Inventory analysis. This role evaluates client collateral, reviews financial data and documentation, identifies potential risk items, and partners with internal teams and clients to ensure accurate and complete loan support information.
Responsibilities- Determine eligible client collateral in accordance with established Credit Agreements.
- Analyze Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Inventory trends to identify changes and potential risks.
- Review client loan support documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with predetermined requirements.
- Identify and escalate potential risk items within client documentation and collateral data.
- Extract, format, and upload client report data across multiple lending lines of business.
- Review submitted client files for completeness and ensure required formatting standards are met.
- Coordinate with internal Servicing Partners to obtain missing or incomplete documentation.
- Collaborate with internal partners to ensure accurate data extraction and reporting.
- Create and update Excel formulas within data extraction tools used to upload client files into analytical applications.
- Effectively communicate analysis, findings, and documentation requirements to internal business partners and clients.
Required Skills & Qualifications- Experience using Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data manipulation.
- Experience reviewing loan documentation and supporting financial records.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies or incomplete information.
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and communicate findings effectively.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Accounting experience or knowledge of accounting principles.
- Experience performing financial or collateral analysis.
- Experience working with financial analysis, data extraction, or analytical technology platforms.
- Experience with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Inventory, or Asset Based Lending concepts is a plus.
Interview Process: Three interviews — two video interviews and one in-person interview.
