The successful candidate combines hands-on technical capability with strong customer service, vendor coordination, documentation, and project execution skills. The role may support high-visibility executive meetings, leadership events, town halls, board activities, and other time-sensitive business engagements.
What you will do:
Teams Rooms and Meeting Technology
Own the day-to-day engineering and operational support of Microsoft Teams Rooms, including room systems, touch consoles, cameras, microphones, speakers, displays, control systems, room peripherals, and related network and power dependencies.
Administer and monitor Teams Rooms through the Microsoft Teams Rooms Pro Management Portal, Teams Admin Center, and approved device-management and vendor platforms.
Maintain room standards, naming conventions, licensing, configuration baselines, monitoring groups, asset records, and lifecycle information.
Support standard and custom Teams Room designs, including rooms with integrated AV control, multiple displays, specialized audio, room-combining capabilities, and redundant or high-availability components.
Perform room readiness assessments, installation validation, acceptance testing, firmware and software updates, configuration reviews, and post-deployment verification.
Troubleshoot complex room incidents involving Teams, Windows or Android room systems, peripherals, AV signal paths, network connectivity, device authentication, room calendars, and user experience.
Coordinate with networking, security, endpoint, identity, facilities, and external AV partners to resolve issues that span multiple technical domains.
Support room lifecycle management, including technology assessments, refresh planning, end-of-life reviews, replacement recommendations, inventory accuracy, and annual site review activities.
Help maintain room-finder data, room documentation, support procedures, knowledge articles, diagrams, and standard work.
Digital Signage
Engineer and support the enterprise digital-signage service, including App space or other approved signage platforms, players, displays, content endpoints, registration, device groups, and monitoring.
Establish and maintain digital-signage governance, technical standards, security practices, support processes, and lifecycle requirements.
Support signage deployments from requirements and design through procurement, installation, registration, testing, operational handoff, and ongoing support.
Troubleshoot signage players, displays, content playback, connectivity, authentication, scheduling, device registration, and platform-service issues.
Partner with communications, facilities, site IT, business stakeholders, and installation partners to ensure signage content and technology are fit for purpose.
Maintain signage inventories, service health reporting, license and cost-reclass information, support documentation, and site-specific implementation records.
Provide training and enablement for site contacts and content owners so that routine activities can be completed safely and consistently.
Service Management and Operational Excellence
Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for collaboration services and participate in incident, request, problem, change, and knowledge-management processes.
Use ServiceNow and approved operational tools to document work, track incidents and requests, maintain asset and configuration information, and communicate status.
Analyze recurring incidents and service-health data to identify root causes, technical debt, automation opportunities, and improvements to standards or support models.
Create and maintain runbooks, knowledge articles, technical procedures, diagrams, support models, and operational handoff materials.
Participate in service reviews, operational reporting, vendor governance, cost management, and continuous-improvement activities.
Recommend changes that improve reliability, user experience, security, supportability, and total cost of ownership.
Project Delivery and Partner Management
Participate in collaboration technology projects, site deployments, office moves, renovations, M&A integrations, and other initiatives affecting meeting spaces or digital signage.
Translate business requirements into technical designs, implementation plans, estimates, test plans, and supportable solutions.
Manage or coordinate installation partners and managed service providers, including scope validation, scheduling, quality checks, issue resolution, and acceptance.
Evaluate hardware, software, service, and vendor options based on business need, enterprise standards, security, lifecycle, supportability, and cost.
