Prairie Family Medicine, part of Praxis Health, is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join our well-established primary care practice in beautiful Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

For nearly two decades, Prairie Family Medicine has been part of the Coeur d'Alene community, growing from an independent, physician-owned family practice into a trusted home for generations of local patients. Qualifications

  • Highly-engaged MD/DO physician, Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
  • Passionate about whole-person, community-based care
  • Comfortable seeing patients across the lifespan
  • Excited to join a mission-driven team with strong values and deep community roots
  • Clinical competency and expertise in caring for Primary Care patients
  • Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics
  • Knowledge of common medication, side effects and contraindications
  • In-depth knowledge of legal medical guidelines and medicine best practices

  • Respect for patient's confidentiality

General Physical Requirements

  • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
  • The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch.
  • The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Work Environment: Combination of medical office and exam/procedure room settings.

OSHA Category

This position performs tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids and/or tissues. All employees performing these duties are offered the opportunity to receive the Hepatitis-B vaccination series.
