Volt is immediately hiringRemote Critical Access Rural HealthMedical Coders.As aCritical Access Rural HealthMedical Coderyou will• Assign appropriate codes to diagnoses procedures and treatments using ICD-10 CPT HCPCS and other classification systems.• Review patient charts and documentation for accuracy and completeness.• Ensure codes are sequenced correctly according to government and insurance regulations.• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to clarify ambiguous documentation.• Maintain confidentiality and security of patient records.• Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies for reimbursement.• Analyze medical records to identify documentation deficiencies.• Stay updated on coding guidelines payer policies and healthcare regulations.This is afull-timeopportunity.The ideal candidate will have Proven work experience as a Medical Coder or similar role Three years of experience working directly for a Critical Access Facility or Rural Health Clinic. Three years of CAHRHC Medical Coding experience.
