Cockroach DB Engineer

Strong hands-on experience with CockroachDB architecture and administration

Deep understanding of distributed database systems (replication, consistency, consensus models)

Expertise in automation using Ansible playbooks

Strong shell scripting (Bash/Korn Shell) for automation and operational tooling

Expertise in using AI Tools like Github Copilot or any other AI tools to write the code

Experience with multi-region deployment architectures and high availability design

Database performance tuning, query optimization, and capacity planning

8+ years of database engineering experience in enterprise environments

Strong experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles

Experience in monitoring, alerting, and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk)

Solid understanding of backup, restore, failover, and disaster recovery strategies

Experience implementing security controls, encryption, RBAC, and compliance standards

Excellent collaboration and stakeholder communication skills

Salary Range- $120,000-$130,000 a year
