Title: COBOL AS/400 Developer

Pay Range: $40 - $45/Hour on W2/C2C (All inclusive)
Introduction
Join our team as a skilled developer where you'll play a crucial role in maintaining and developing COBOL and RPG-based applications on the AS/400 platform. This position is vital for ensuring the seamless operation of business-critical systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8-10 years of experience with COBOL/400 & ILE COBOL development
- Strong expertise in AS/400, DB2, and DB2/400
- Proficiency in application debugging and performance tuning
- Experience with RPG/RPGLE, SQL, and IBM iSeries
- Prior work experience at client or in client's industry
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in continuous integration/deployment processes specific to the IBM i environment
- Knowledge of Agile principles with experience in Scrum or Kanban
- Ability to interface AS/400 applications with distributed systems
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and support business-critical applications on the AS/400 platform
- Design and maintain DB2/400 databases and optimize SQL queries
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AS/400 applications with modern systems
