Coatings Mechanic

Job Purpose:

• The Coatings Mechanic at BLAKLEY CORP is responsible for the application and maintenance of high-quality epoxy coatings and polished concrete surfaces. This role requires a skilled professional with a minimum of three years of experience in the coatings industry, ensuring that all projects meet the companys standards for durability and aesthetic appeal.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply epoxy coatings to various surfaces, ensuring a smooth and even finish that meets industry standards.
• Polish concrete surfaces to achieve desired texture and shine, maintaining consistency across projects.
• Inspect surfaces before and after application to ensure quality control and adherence to specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to plan and execute coating projects efficiently.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, performing routine checks and necessary repairs.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
• Document work processes and outcomes for reference and reporting purposes.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in coating technologies to enhance service offerings.

Required Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in applying epoxy coatings
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in polishing concrete

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in a coatings role within a construction or industrial setting
• Familiarity with various types of coating materials and their applications

• Proficient in the use of tools and equipment related to coatings application
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
