At Excelitas Technologies you are how we EXCEL.We are currently seeking aCoater Technicianwho will be responsible for keeping optical components moving from cleaning operations to coating chamber operations. They will also perform cleaning and inspection of substrates and coated components.Main responsibilitiesCleans inspects and measures more advancedcomplex substrates to ensure quality.Packages optical componentsSets up toolingLoads parts into chambersStarts coating runsMay perform tooling fit checksreviewsAble to read and comprehend prints for determining specs on surface quality substrate dimensions arrow marking for side one and side two packaging requirementsMay begin training andor perform second check chamber startUnderstanding of non-conforming material and how to scrap materialUnderstanding of substrate materialInspection of normal productTrained on ISO mil final inspectionRaising tech issues with tooling specs process sheets etcUnderstanding defect typesOther tasks as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferred.Teamwork - works effectively within the team.Experience working in a cleanroom environmentAt least 2 years of work experience in a process manufacturing environment is desiredPay Range 21.00- 26.00 per hour depending on experience.Our facility in Boulder Colorado has key functions in Research and Development Operations Production and other disciplines.
