    Posting Summary

    Rutgers University-Newark, an urban public research university and anchor institution located in Newark, New Jersey, a city of promise, is seeking two Non-Credit, Non-Teaching Coadjutants (Student Success Mentor) for the TRIO McNair program within the Academic Foundations Center.

    The duties include but are not limited to the following:

    • Assist Students in constructing research abstracts
    • Demonstrate test-taking skills needed for verbal examination assessments
    • Assist students in developing competitive visitation and graduate applications
    • Provide instruction and guidance on conducting scholarly research
    • Instruct students on creating scholarly posters for presentations
    • Oversee practices for oral presentations
    • Counsel students on graduate school selection and application procedures.
    • Report student learning outcomes, class reviews, and/or analyzing student data
    • Participate in external conferences and visitations
    • Attend McNair staff meetings
