Requirements / Qualifications
Current CPR/AED Certification, First Aid Card, Coaching Certificate, NFHS Concussion Certificate, NFHS Sudden Cardiac Arrest Certificate, NFHS Heat Illness Certificate and knowledge of adolescent psychology required. Valid TB test, Fingerprint clearance, Keenan course completions, and all other RJUHSD mandated certificates. All coach clearance certifications and requirements as stated on the RJUHSD website. Please note: First Aid and CPR/AED must be a hand s on training course, we do not accept on-line courses.
Prior Swim coaching experience at the high school or competitive level preferred. Knowledge of swim techniques, water safety, and NFHS rules. Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
