Coach Cleaner - Light Maintenance
Job Location: San Jose, California
Job Type: Temporary
Pay Rate: $20-$22/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 5:30pm - 2pm
Description of Position:
Do you have experience working as a Coach Cleaner? Our client is looking for dependable individual to help maintain clean, safe, and welcoming passenger rail cars. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, follows safety procedures, and is comfortable working around train schedules in a dynamic environment. Ideal candidate will be reliable, safety conscious individual who takes pride in maintaining a clean environment and delivering quality work.
Job Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize passenger rail cars, including seating areas, restrooms, and common spaces
Polish lighting fixtures, floors, metal surfaces, and trim
Vacuum and clean carpets, rugs, upholstered seating, and draperies
Wash windows, door panels, and sills
Restock restroom supplies and replace light bulbs as needed
Empty trash and transport waste to designated disposal areas
Keep dumpster areas clean and report faulty equipment or maintenance concerns
Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and applicable regulations
Perform additional cleaning duties as assigned
Description of Company:
You will be supporting a well-established railroad services company in San Jose, California.
Experience Required:
Previous janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning experience preferred
Ability to work around train schedules and meet cleaning deadlines
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
Commitment to following all safety policies and procedures
