Co-Owner Veterinarian, New Grads Welcome, Buy-In Path

A small animal general practice in the Charleston metro is hiring a full-time Co-Owner Veterinarian with an equity stake in the hospital.

The doctor is supported by 2 credentialed technicians and 5 support staff. This is a partnership model, not a corporate roll-up, with no mandated protocols, no corporate formulary, and no production quotas dictating exam length.

Key Highlights:

• Buy-in equity stake, with distributions based on hospital performance and equity share
• Partner financing with loan support available through the partnership network
• Buy-in amount, financing options, and historical distributions reviewed early in the conversation
• Support team of 2 credentialed techs and 5 support staff
• Leadership in medical decision-making and clinic culture, plus a voice in equipment, hiring, and scheduling
• Leadership training and mentorship from experienced partners

About You:

• DVM or VMD from an AVMA-accredited school
• Valid South Carolina veterinary license, or eligible
• Small animal general practice experience, comfortable with routine surgery and dentistry
• New grads with a clear ownership ambition are welcome to apply, with a runway to partnership
• Genuine interest in ownership, with the judgment and communication skills to be trusted with autonomy
