    MANTECH seeks Computer Network Operations (CNO) Developer Interns to design and develop technologies to defend, attack and exploit networks in defense of our most critical systems.

    Our Summer internship locations include Hanover, MD; Herndon VA; Aurora, Colorado and San Antonio, TX. Hybrid options may be available.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Expanding your skills in Low-Level Programming, Hacking, Reverse Engineering, Capability/Tool Development, Embedded Development, Security Research, Penetration Testing and Networking
    • Leveraging experience with Python ,C, C++ and Assembly coding to develop mission-critical software
    • Supporting a prestigious national security program held by ManTech for 15+ years in a collaborative environment
    • Participating in guided projects over the summer that can directly flow back to real contracts.

    Required Qualifications:

    • U.S. Citizen with an active US Security Clearance or eligible to obtain a US Security Clearance
    • Current full-time student pursuing a BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field with a projected expected graduation date no earlier than December 2027.
    • Academic or professional experience in Low-Level Programming, Hacking, Reverse Engineering, Capability/Tool Development, Embedded Development, Security Research, Penetration Testing, and Networking
    • Proficiency with one (or more) of the following languages: Python, C++, C, or Assembly
    • Desire to work in a hands-on, coding-heavy role where the primary focus is to design and develop new bleeding edge software
    • Ability to work on-site or in a hybrid format in Hanover MD, Herndon VA, Aurora, CO or San Antonio TX

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Active/current TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
    • Networking (TCP/IP) and socket level programming
    • Low-level internals in one or more technology areas (e.g. Windows, Unix, Mobile, Network devices)
    • Assembly programming concepts (x86)
    • Atlassian products (JIRA, Confluence, Crucible)
    • Penetration testing and analysis, computer forensic analysis and data recovery, computer intrusion detection and analysis, computer incident response

    Clearance Requirements:

    • U.S. Citizen with an active US Security Clearance or eligible to obtain a US Security Clearance

    Physical Requirements:

    • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
    • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel
    • Must be able to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery
