The Mission
- Own setup and operation of standard CNC lathes (Okuma).
- Interpret blueprints and GD&T to drive accurate, repeatable machining.
- Apply measurement best practices using hand tools, optical comparator, and CMM.
- Read and understand G- and M-code and make straightforward edits when needed.
- Handle complex setups using work instructions/guides while working under limited supervision.
What It Takes
- CNC Machinist Level 2 or Level 3 capability.
- Hands-on experience with Okuma lathes; comfortable on Fanuc and Okuma controls.
- Fluency in GD&T and blueprint reading.
- Proven skill in CNC setup, changeover, and production run execution.
