    Description

Shape precision parts from start to finish

As a CNC Turning Specialist, you’ll own the setup and operation of Haas CNC lathes, turning metric drawings into flawless inch-based parts. Your day blends hands-on machining, smart programming, rigorous inspection, and continuous improvement.

    A day in the shop

    • Kick off by reviewing metric blueprints and CAD files, translating critical dimensions to imperial units for Haas controls.
    • Set tools, establish work and tool offsets, run safe prove-outs, and dial in the first-piece.
    • Program and refine toolpaths with G-code and CAD/CAM software such as Fusion 360, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Mastercam.
    • Tune feeds, speeds, and offsets to match the material and wall thickness, minimizing scrap and maximizing finish quality.
    • Measure often: verify dimensions and surfaces using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to meet spec.
    • Document machine settings, programs, and maintenance activity; record learnings for the next run.
    • Collaborate with engineering and production to confirm tooling meets safety and performance expectations.
    • Perform routine maintenance and keep your area organized, clean, and safe throughout the shift.

    What you’ll deliver

    • High-precision components that meet all dimensional and surface finish requirements.
    • Optimized, well-documented CNC programs and setups for repeatable production.
    • Reliable machines through preventative care and troubleshooting.

    Qualifications
