CNC Turning and Deburr Specialist

What you will tackle

  • Operate CNC and manual lathes to complete turning, facing, drilling, threading, grooving, and more on a variety of metals/alloys.
  • Decode blueprints and work instructions to confirm dimensions and tolerances before a chip is cut.
  • Mount and secure workpieces with the right fixtures and clamps for stability, accuracy, and repeatability.
  • Select, install, and offset cutting tools; set speeds, feeds, and depths of cut based on material and operation.
  • Watch the process: monitor tool wear, adjust parameters, and keep quality and efficiency on target.
  • Handle routine upkeep—cleaning, lubrication, and tooling changes—to keep machines reliable.
  • Partner with teammates, supervisors, and engineers to solve problems and refine processes.

What you bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience operating lathes or working in a similar manufacturing capacity (preferred).
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications with precision.
  • Confidence using micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and gauges to verify part features and tolerances.
  • Knowledge of cutting tool geometries and where each excels; you pick the right tool for the job.
  • Hands-on familiarity with turning processes—facing, drilling, threading, grooving—to produce consistent, high-quality parts.
  • Comfort performing daily/weekly maintenance tasks that extend machine life and performance.

Pay and hours

The salary range for this position is $22.00 to $30.00 per hour – We have day shifts and night shift available (5:30PM-2:00AM).
