Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Swiss Setup Operator to join our dynamic team in Berea, OH. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the manufacturing process, ensuring precision and quality in our CNC Swiss machining operations. Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC Swiss machines to produce high-quality precision parts.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Perform tool changes, offsets, and adjustments to maintain optimal machine performance.
- Monitor production processes and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality standards are met.
- Conduct regular inspections of finished products using precision measuring instruments.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to resolve any machining issues.
- Document production activities and maintain accurate records of work performed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining is a plus.
- Proven experience as a CNC Swiss Setup Operator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes, tools, and techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Proficient in using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
