Requirements

• At least five years of manufacturing supervisory or management experience
• CNC programming, setup, operation, and machining experience
• Experience operating CNC lathes
• Ability to read blueprints and technical instructions
• Strong leadership, coaching, and performance-management skills
• Ability to spend approximately two-thirds of the shift on the shop floor
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and related software
• Strong organization, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities
• Basic mathematical skills
• Ability to complete production logs and reports accurately
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality

Job Duties

• Set up and operate CNC lathe production cycles
• Perform turning, drilling, bar-feeding, and live-tooling operations
• Work with Hyundai, Mori, Yugi, and Haas equipment
• Oversee daily department workflow
• Prioritize shop orders to meet production schedules
• Manage employee performance and conduct evaluations
• Train and onboard new employees
• Coach team members and support skill development
• Coordinate with manufacturing, fabrication, and assembly departments
• Resolve production and personnel issues
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized machines and work areas
• Identify and implement process improvements
• Enforce company policies, quality standards, and safety procedures
