Job Title: CNC Shop Production Supervisor

As a Production Supervisor, you'll coordinate daily shop activities, ensure production standards are met, and foster a positive, accountable work environment. You'll work closely with department teams to quickly resolve issues, help streamline processes, and keep customer delivery commitments on track.
What You'll Do
As a CNC Shop Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
Directing daily activities for CNC machinists and forge press operators, assigning work, and monitoring job progress to ensure seamless shop flow
Providing daily supervision, coaching, and leadership to your team
Conducting shift meetings, managing attendance, performance, and supporting hiring and cross-training initiatives
Ensuring all safety procedures, work instructions, drawings, and quality standards are strictly followed
Participating in investigations of safety and quality incidents to determine root causes and corrective actions
Collaborating with Planning, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance to resolve production bottlenecks quickly
Holding team members accountable for performance and schedule adherence, and maintaining accurate labor and production records
Promoting teamwork and continuously seeking ways to improve productivity and processes
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
At least 5 years of manufacturing experience
Solid CNC machining background within a production setting
A strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, setups, and overall workflow
Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and manufacturing documentation
Excellent communication, leadership, and motivational skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous supervisory or lead machinist experience
Aerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing background
Experience with ERP systems and relevant manufacturing software
