CNC Sheet Metal Programmer
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced CNC Sheet Metal Programmer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming, sheet metal fabrication, blueprint reading, and CAD/CAM software.
Key Responsibilities
- Program CNC machines to cut, bend, and shape sheet metal components according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files.
- Set up and calibrate CNC machines for production runs.
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Perform quality inspections to ensure finished products meet specifications.
- Troubleshoot CNC programming and machine issues.
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing processes.
- Maintain accurate production records and follow safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of CNC programming or machining experience.
- Experience in sheet metal fabrication or manufacturing.
- Knowledge of CNC programming languages, including G-code.
- Experience with CAD/CAM software.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of quality control and manufacturing processes.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in CNC programming or a related field.
