Job Title: CNC Setup Technician
Location: Hastings, NE
Pay: $21.50 $27.50/hour (DOE)
Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday Thursday, 5: 00 AM 3: 30 PM
Overtime as needed: Fridays, 5: 00 AM 1: 00 PM

Position Overview
We re looking for a skilled CNC Setup Technician to join a high-performing manufacturing team. In this role, you ll take the lead on setting up and optimizing CNC machines to produce high-precision components. If you enjoy working with advanced equipment, solving problems and driving quality results, this is a great opportunity to grow your career.

What You ll Do

• 
  Set up CNC mills and lathes, including tooling, fixtures and workpieces
  
• 
  Program machines using CAM software and verify programs before production
  
• 
  Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T and technical drawings
  
• 
  Inspect parts using precision tools (calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, CMM)
  
• 
  Troubleshoot issues, adjust machine settings and perform routine maintenance
  
• 
  Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes
  
• 
  Maintain setup documentation and inspection records
  

What We re Looking For

• 
  Experience with CNC setup, programming and operation (mills & lathes)
  
• 
  Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling and fixtures
  
• 
  Ability to read blueprints and GD&T specifications
  
• 
  Proficiency with precision measuring instruments
  
• 
  Basic math skills (feeds, speeds, tolerances, offsets)
  
• 
  Familiarity with CAD software (e.G., SolidWorks) is a plus
  
• 
  Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  
•
