Description

Our client in Latrobe PA is seeking a CNC Repair Tech to join the team

Duties:

* Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machines and related production equipment.
* Diagnose and repair motors, drives, motion control systems, and basic PLC-controlled equipment.
* Perform preventative and predictive maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance and uptime.
* Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and machine documentation.
* Support CNC retrofits, machine upgrades, and new equipment installations and start-ups.
* Perform welding, fabrication, machining, rigging, and tooling support as required for equipment repairs.
* Analyze equipment downtime and conduct root cause failure analysis; implement corrective actions.
* Maintain accurate maintenance logs, checklists, and inventory records.
* Coordinate with and monitor outside vendors for specialized machinery repairs or services.
* Communicate equipment needs, parts requirements, and purchase requests to management or procurement.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to machine reliability and performance.
* Follow and help develop safe work procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and EHS requirements.
* Operate forklifts and material handling equipment as needed.


Requirements:

* Proven experience in CNC or industrial machinery maintenance.
* Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills.
* Hands-on experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
* Working knowledge of motors, drives, and motion control systems.
* Basic knowledge of PLC controls and industrial automation.
* Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
* Familiarity with preventative and predictive maintenance technologies.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and repetitive motion.
* Commitment to safety, quality, and 6S standards.
