Are you an experienced CNC Programmer looking for an exciting opportunity in Taunton, MA? Qualifications and responsibilities for this CNC Programmer position include:
- Minimum 5 years of CNC programming experience, ideally 10+ years, with expertise in 3-, 4-, and 5-axis milling.
- Proficiency in Mastercam, G-code programming, and familiarity with SolidWorks.
- Experience programming and setting up vertical and horizontal CNC machining centers, preferably Haas and Doosan equipment.
- Strong understanding of GD&T, engineering drawings, tooling, fixturing, and precision measuring instruments.
- Manage projects from initial programming through successful machining, including tool selection, machine setup, troubleshooting, and quality inspections.
- Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs while maintaining Mastercam and NC program databases and developing setup documentation.
- Research and implement improved tooling, workholding solutions, and machining processes to maximize efficiency and production quality.
- Collaborate with quality control personnel, troubleshoot machining issues, and provide technical guidance to machine operators and junior programmers.
Salary: $40-$50 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including medical insurance with four plan options and up to 85% employer contribution depending on the plan after 30 days, 100% employer-paid employee dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) with a 5% company match after 90 days, two weeks of paid time off plus one week of sick time (negotiable), and a discretionary profitability-based bonus. The position also offers a first-shift schedule, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with scheduling flexibility and overtime opportunities.
