CNC Programmer

This position is ideal for someone with strong mechanical knowledge, hands-on CNC programming experience, and the ability to work closely with machinists, production staff, and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Create CNC programs using Mastercam software
• Program CNC machining operations, including milling and turning on multi-axis mills and lathes
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical designs to create accurate machining programs
• Troubleshoot CNC programs, machining issues, and equipment-related concerns
• Maintain organized records of CNC programs and machining operations
• Review machining processes and recommend improvements to increase productivity and efficiency
• Work closely with team members to support quality, accuracy, and production goals
• Communicate clearly with machinists, supervisors, and other technical staff

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role
• Strong experience using Mastercam software
• Experience programming CNC mills and lathes
• Knowledge of multi-axis machining preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machining processes
• Ability to troubleshoot CNC programs and machining operations
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
