    Position Summary

    We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, optimizing, and maintaining CNC programs for milling, turning, and multi-axis machining operations. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with machinists, engineers, and quality personnel to ensure efficient production and high-quality finished parts.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs using CAM software.
    • Set up and troubleshoot CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment.
    • Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T specifications, and CAD models.
    • Select appropriate tooling, cutting parameters, and machining strategies.
    • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing processes.
    • Perform first article inspections and verify dimensional accuracy.
    • Reduce cycle times while maintaining quality and safety standards.
    • Maintain program documentation, setup sheets, and process records.
    • Support continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Train operators and machinists on new programs and processes as needed.
    • Operate equipment in a safe manner in accordance with OSHA regulations
    • Report unsafe acts, carelessness and theft to the Supervisor immediately
    • Maintain work area in a clean, organized and orderly fashion.

    Requirements

    • Must work onsite
    • High school diploma or GED.
    • 3+ years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment.
    • Proficiency with CAM software such as Mastercam, Esprit, or similar.
    • Strong understanding of G-code, M-code, tooling, and machining principles.
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
    • Experience using precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
    • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
    • Ability to work safely around industrial machinery and equipment.
    • Experience with 4-axis and 5-axis machining.
    • Must be able to pass a drug screen before employment, any time an employee is involved in an injury/accident and at any other time during employment.
    • Ability to lift and carry loads of 30 lbs. regularly and occasionally lift up to 70 lbs.
    • Work while standing 50-75% of the time
    • Ability to manipulate objects and use various types of equipment
    • Must be able to see and hear to effectively perform job functions
    • Must be detail-oriented, dependable, and demonstrate the ability to follow directions
