What You’ll Do- Program, set up, and operate CNC equipment, including Vertical Milling Center, Waterjet systems, and 3-axis Gantry machines
- Develop, prototype, and modify 3D models and toolpaths to optimize machining processes
- Write, adjust, and optimize G-code to ensure smooth and precise machining
- Troubleshoot machining errors, programming challenges, and equipment issues to improve efficiency
- Design and fabricate custom fixtures to ensure material stability during machining
- Collaborate with the production, design, and quality teams to align on project goals; Inspect and test parts to meet strict quality standards
What You Bring- 5+ years of experience programming and operating CNC VMCs, with a deep understanding of G-code (HAAS experience preferred)
- Certification or degree in Mechanical Engineering, CNC Programming, or a related field
- Experience with 3-axis Gantry machines like Waterjets and Techno routers
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM (Autodesk Inventor, Aspire/Carve) software for creating and modifying machining programs
- Attention to detail and a passion for high-quality custom work
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Ability to operate manual machines (e.g., Bridgeport) is a plus
