    What you will do

    • Plan end‑to‑end sequences for machining and assembly based on customer orders and technical data (drawings, specifications, POs).
    • Create shop routings, operation sheets, tooling plans, and all process documentation to produce high‑quality product.
    • Ensure methods align with available machines and deliver efficiency, quality, and on‑time performance.
    • Specify, design, and/or procure special tooling/fixtures and equipment within cost and schedule.
    • Program CNC equipment to effectively and efficiently achieve desired results.
    • Participate on Corrective Action and MRB Boards.
    • Analyze and resolve machining/tooling issues to prevent recurrence.
    • Generate or revise manufacturing drawings using CAD methodology.
    • Value‑engineer products and processes to reduce cost, lead time, and cycle time.
    • Comply with all company policies/procedures, as well as military and contractual requirements.
    • Perform other duties as needed.

    Typical processes you’ll influence

    Milling, lathe operations, honing, plating, CNC programming, assembly, testing, non‑destructive testing, dimensional and visual inspection, and electro‑mechanical assembly.

    Skills and competencies

    • SolidWorks and Microsoft Suite proficiency
    • Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
    • Understanding of manufacturing systems: MRP, kitting, batch sizing, configuration control, workflow routings

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor of Science in Engineering required; equivalent experience considered
    • 7+ years of manufacturing experience preferred

    • CAM Software: Mastercam, Mazatrol
    • CNC Mill (5+ axis VMC): Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Mazak, Haas, DMG Mori Seiki
    • CNC Lathe (5+ axis): Mazak, Okuma, Doosan, DMG Mori Seiki
