    CNC Press Brake Fabrication Specialist — Tualatin, OR

    Join a production team where precision and pace go hand in hand. In this role, you’ll turn flat sheet into flawlessly formed parts using hydraulic and CNC press brakes while collaborating with a crew that values accuracy, safety, and efficiency.

    A day in the life

    • Start by reviewing blueprints, templates, and technical drawings to confirm specs, tolerances, and bend deductions.
    • Select tooling and plan the forming sequence using your knowledge of material properties and bend characteristics.
    • Program and set up CNC press brakes, manage changeovers, and dial in machine adjustments to meet production targets.
    • Run parts to exacting tolerances and verify quality throughout the process, making real-time corrections when needed.
    • Operate complementary fabrication equipment such as notchers, rolls, hardware machines, and RAS panel benders (CNC).
    • Perform routine hydraulic system checks, basic troubleshooting, and minor adjustments to keep equipment running smoothly.
    • Collaborate with teammates to streamline workflow, uphold safety practices, and keep the floor organized.
    • Pitch in across other production cells when required.

    What you’ll bring

    • 1–3 years of experience operating press brakes or working in metal fabrication.
    • Solid understanding of hydraulics, related components, and mechanical systems.
    • Hands-on skill with CNC setups, tooling selection, and fine machine adjustments.
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and bend deduction charts.
    • Direct experience with hydraulic press brakes; RAS panel bender exposure is a plus.
    • Knowledge of sheet metal processes and confidence with common hand tools.
    • Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or with a team.
    • High school diploma or equivalent; technical/trade certification preferred.

    Physical demands

    • Stand for extended periods on a concrete floor.
    • Lift 25 lbs or more as needed.
    • Use manual dexterity to handle small tools and components.
