Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a CNC Operator position in Virginia Beach Virginia! 
 
Qualifications:
  • Must have 1 year of experience in CNC machining, manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Must have High school diploma, GED, or vocational/technical school equivalent.
  • Basic familiarity with CNC machinery, machining processes, materials, and precision measuring equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and technical documents.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability and willingness to participate in on-the-job training.
  • Ability to learn and follow CNC operating procedures and production specifications.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
Job Duties entail but are not limited to:
  • Set up and operate CNC machines to perform drilling, milling, grinding, cutting, and other machining operations.
  • Load raw materials and parts into CNC machines and secure them properly.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, job orders, and technical instructions.
  • Use basic CNC programming or preloaded software to operate machines according to specifications.
  • Perform test runs and monitor machine operations to ensure parts meet required specifications.
  • Make basic machine adjustments as needed to maintain quality and production requirements.
  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments, including calipers and micrometers.
  • Record production information, machine settings, and inspection results accurately.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and report mechanical or operational issues.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all applicable safety procedures.
Schedule:
  • Monday-Thursday: 6:30am-5:30pm
  • Friday: 6:30am-3:30pm
  • Must be flexible to work Saturdays as needed
Pay:
  • $18-$25/hour based on experience
