Location: Shelton, CT
Pay: $20.00–$24.00/hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team in Shelton, CT. This position is responsible for operating CNC mills and lathes to produce precision metal components. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of CNC machining experience, but we are also willing to train a motivated candidate who recently completed a CNC machining certificate program and is looking to start a career in manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC mills and/or lathes according to work instructions and production schedules.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished parts.
- Monitor machine operation to ensure parts meet quality specifications.
- Perform basic dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Read blueprints, work orders, and setup sheets.
- Make basic tool offsets and notify supervisors of tooling or machine issues.
- Complete production paperwork accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety and quality procedures.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of CNC operator experience preferred.
- Recent graduates of a CNC machining certificate program are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to read blueprints and manufacturing drawings.
- Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to stand for an entire shift and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
Preferred Experience
- CNC milling and/or turning operations
- Haas, Mazak, Fanuc, or similar CNC controls
- Blueprint reading
- Precision measuring instruments
- Manufacturing safety procedures
- Production documentation and quality inspections
Pay: $20.00–$24.00/hour (DOE)
