CNC Lathe Operator / Machinist

1st Shift | Monday through Thursday | 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Pay

• CNC Operator: $18.00 to $23.00 per hour
• CNC Machinist: $21.00 to $27.00 per hour

Liberty Lift is seeking a dependable and experienced CNC Lathe Operator or Machinist to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will set up and operate Okuma CNC lathes to produce quality parts according to blueprints and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes
• Read blueprints, drawings, and work orders
• Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools
• Adjust tooling, offsets, feeds, and speeds as needed
• Maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards
• Perform routine machine care and keep the work area clean and organized

Qualifications

• Two or more years of CNC machining experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and understand machining tolerances
• Experience using precision measuring tools
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Dependable, safety-focused, and able to work independently
• Willingness to work overtime when needed

Starting pay and job classification will be based on demonstrated CNC lathe experience, setup ability, inspection skills, and overall skill level.
