CNC OPERATOR NEEDED | 2ND SHIFT | $18/HRSAVARD Personnel Group is hiring CNC Operators for a manufacturing facility in Houston, TX. Candidates will operate and set up CNC machines, verify production settings, and ensure finished products meet quality standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines according to production procedures and safety standards.
- Set up machines for production orders and verify machine settings.
- Measure positions and inspect first-run parts and sample pieces.
- Monitor production to ensure parts meet required specifications.
- Check and record product measurements and production parameters.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
- Report machine issues, equipment problems, or quality concerns to the CNC Supervisor.
- Follow all safety procedures and production instructions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of manufacturing experience preferred.
- CNC machine operation or setup experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of gauges and basic geometry.
- Ability to measure and inspect parts for accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Reliable attendance and ability to work the assigned shift.
Schedule: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
