    A day in the life

    You arrive to a clean, organized work area and review the day’s priorities with engineering and teammates. You interpret detailed prints and CAD models, set up your CNC mill with the right tooling, and program or adjust paths to hit exacting tolerances. Throughout the shift, you monitor cycle runs, perform mid-process checks with precision instruments, and fine-tune offsets to maintain consistency. You keep the equipment running at peak performance with routine maintenance and finish your day documenting results and ideas to improve throughput and quality.

    What you’ll do

    • Set up and operate CNC milling centers to produce precision parts to specification.
    • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models for accurate machining.
    • Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues to sustain machine reliability.
    • Adjust parameters during runs to uphold strict quality standards.
    • Verify output with micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools.
    • Collaborate with engineers and peers to enhance processes and efficiency.
    • Maintain a safe, orderly workstation while following company safety policies.

    What you bring

    • High school diploma or equivalent; a machining certificate or technical degree is a plus.
    • Hands-on experience as a CNC mill machinist or in a comparable role.
    • Solid grasp of CNC programming and machine operation.
    • Ability to interpret complex drawings and manufacturing documentation.
    • Proficiency with precision metrology tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
    • Comfort working independently and within a team in a fast-moving setting.
    • Meticulous attention to detail and a quality-first mindset.
