    We’re growing our Richmond team with a CNC professional who can program at the control, set up complex 3–5 axis jobs, and keep quality front and center. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers and fellow machinists to ship components that meet exact specifications.

    Your responsibilities

    • Set up and operate 3–5 axis CNC milling machines per engineering directives and customer requirements.
    • Read and apply blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to plan machining operations.
    • Conduct in‑process and final inspections with calipers, micrometers, and related gauges.
    • Diagnose issues, perform routine maintenance, and fine‑tune parameters to maintain throughput and accuracy.
    • Work cross‑functionally to streamline manufacturing processes and improve results.
    • Comply with safety standards while maintaining a tidy, organized workstation.
    • Capture production details, inspections, and setup notes with clear, complete records.

    What you’ll need to succeed

    • High school diploma or equivalent; technical machining education or certification is a plus.
    • Proven background running multi‑axis CNC milling equipment (3–5 axis).
    • Solid understanding of CNC programming concepts and G‑code.
    • Ability to confidently interpret prints and technical drawings.
    • Experience with precision metrology tools and inspection methods.
    • Problem‑solver with strong attention to detail and quality.
    • Team‑first contributor who can also work independently.
    • Strong communicator with a can‑do outlook.
