Summary:
A precision manufacturing company for the aerospace industry is looking to hire a 2nd shift CNC Mill Setup/Operator to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating 5-axis mills to manufacture parts with tight tolerances. You will work with DMG Mori machines, equipped with Zoller laser setting and Fanuc controls.
Responsibilities:
* Set up and operate CNC mills to produce parts to exact specifications.
* Interpret and work from blueprints and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GDT).
* Monitor the machining process, making adjustments as necessary to maintain product quality.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure production goals are met.
* Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 1+ years of experience in CNC mill setup and operation
* Proficient in interpreting blueprints
* Flexibility to work night shift (2:30pm - 11pm or 3:30pm - 12am)
Preferred qualifications:
* Aerospace machining background
* Proficiency with Fanuc controls and Zoller laser setting
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GDT
* Familiarity with DMG Mori machines is a plus.
