Job Title: CNC Mill Operator - 2ND SHIFTPosition SummaryThe CNC Mill Operator is responsible for setting up and operating CNC milling machines to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications. This position ensures quality, efficiency, and adherence to safety standards while maintaining equipment and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC milling machines (3-axis and/or 4/5-axis)Load programs, verify correct revision, and make approved offset adjustmentsRead and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructionsPerform first-article and in-process inspections using precision measuring toolsMonitor machine performance and detect malfunctionsReplace tooling, set tool lengths and offsets as requiredMaintain proper documentation (job travelers, inspection sheets, etc.)Maintain clean and organized work area (5S standards)Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirementsCommunicate production or quality concerns to supervisor or quality departmentRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED2+ years CNC milling experience (or equivalent technical training)Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&TExperience using calipers, micrometers, indicators, and gaugesBasic understanding of feeds, speeds, and toolingAbility to perform basic math and decimal conversionsStrong attention to detailPreferred QualificationsExperience with Fanuc, Haas, or similar controlsSetup experience (fixture mounting, tool setting, probing)Experience running tight-tolerance parts (±.001" or better)Knowledge of lean manufacturing principlesPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periodsLift up to 30 lbsFrequent bending, reaching, and handling of partsWork in a manufacturing environment with noise and coolant exposureCompensation & Benefits (Customize for your company)Competitive hourly pay based on experience2nd shift $2.00 shift differentialOvertime opportunitiesHealth, dental, vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidays Background & Drug Screen required
