CNC Mill Operator – 1st Shift

Shift: 1st Shift
Pay: $26.00–$32.00 per hour

Hire Sync is looking for an experienced CNC Mill Operator to join a well-established Cleveland manufacturer specializing in precision-machined components and high-performance insulating materials. What You'll Be Doing

• Set up and operate CNC vertical milling machines, primarily Haas equipment.
• Manufacture precision components using electrical, mechanical, and thermal insulating materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders.
• Load CNC programs, select tooling, and adjust machine offsets.
• Monitor machining operations and make adjustments to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
• Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments to ensure quality standards are met.
• Troubleshoot basic machine issues and perform routine maintenance.
• Maintain productivity while meeting quality standards and production deadlines.

What We're Looking For

• Previous hands-on CNC milling experience, including machine setup and operation.
• Experience with Haas CNC controls is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand machining tolerances.
• Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools.
• Solid understanding of cutting tools, feeds, speeds, and machining processes.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
