REXA is growing and looking for an experienced CNC Mill Machinist / Setup Machinist to join our 1st shift team in Middleborough, MA.
We recently moved into a brand-new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and are looking for a skilled machinist who takes pride in precision work and can work independently.
This is a hands-on setup and machining position working with Haas CNC mills in a high-mix, low- to medium-volume environment.
What You Will Do:
Set up and operate Haas CNC milling machines Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and setup sheets Select tooling, fixtures, and workholding Set tool and work offsets Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections Use micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, indicators, and other precision measuring equipment Monitor tool wear and make adjustments Make minor program edits, including speeds, feeds, and offsets Troubleshoot tooling, dimensional, and machining issues Perform routine machine maintenance Maintain a clean and safe work area
What We Are Looking For:
3+ years of CNC milling setup and operating experience Haas experience preferred Strong blueprint reading and shop math skills Working knowledge of GD&T and machining tolerances Experience with precision measuring equipment Knowledge of tooling, speeds, feeds, and machining practices Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality High school diploma or GED Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
