What You'll Do as a CNC Mill & Lathe Machinist:- Set up and operate CNC or manual machines to produce parts to specifications
- Maintain production rates to meet hourly output targets
- Inspect parts using precision measuring tools to ensure quality standards
- Complete production and quality documentation such as SPC records
- Replace tools and drills and adjust tool offsets as needed
- Count and track parts produced for accurate job reporting
- Perform basic CNC programming, setup, and machine maintenance tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized work area within the machine shop
What You Need to Bring to the CNC Mill & Lathe Machinist Role:- High school or technical school training in machining preferred
- Experience in CNC machining or machine shop environments preferred
- Ability to read and interpret part drawings and technical specifications
- Ability to use inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
- Ability to maintain accountability for quality and production output
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members and handle workplace demands
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods in a machine shop environment
