Harsco is looking for an experienced CNC Mechanical and Electrical Technician responsible for performing general and complex repairs on CNC-controlled and PLC-controlled machines. This role requires strong mechanical and electrical expertise, including the ability to read and interpret mechanical prints and electrical schematics. Technically sound, with hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing CNC and manual machines, PLC'S, pneumatics, and hydraulic systems.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILTIES
Basic Qualifications
Education
(Associate''s degree)/2 years of Electrical Trade School.
Military Naval/ Air Force Electrical schooling and Training.
Must be familiar with standard shop math
Experience
7-10 years of troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining CNC machines with live tooling. .
10+ years' experience with Haas, Doosan, and/or Mazak machines.
5+ years of general industrial maintenance and repair experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Education or Experience
10+ years of experience in electrical maintenance.
Relevant electrician certification or license.
Familiar with the National Electric Code.
Doosan/Mazak/Haas School or Training
Interpersonal Skills
Ability to write in a clear and concise manner.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.
Technical Skills
Must have experience using voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and ohmmeters.
Basic computer knowledge is required: Microsoft Office.
Other Skills
Ability to effectively plan and organize.
Ability to communicate with others.
