Support CNC machining operations and provide technical expertise to the machine shop
Develop, review, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and product quality
Analyze tooling, equipment, and workflow requirements to enhance production capabilities
Create and maintain engineering documentation, including work instructions and mechanical drawings
Implement and manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)
Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and production staff to identify root causes and drive improvements
Design fixtures and tooling using CAD software
Recommend and support new equipment acquisition, installation, and validation (IQ/OQ/PQ)
Develop and implement lean manufacturing practices, including optimized work cell layouts
Train manufacturing personnel on updated processes and best practices
Support new product introduction by evaluating manufacturability and resource requirements
Review and disposition non-conforming materials in collaboration with quality teams
Provide input on production planning, cost estimates, and manufacturing feasibility
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
At least 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or machining environment
Strong hands-on experience with CNC machining processes and equipment
Familiarity with CAD software and fixture/tooling design
Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives
Ability to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement effective solutions
Strong collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams
Knowledge of engineering change management processes (ECOs)
Experience working in low-volume, high-mix manufacturing environments is highly preferred
Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced technical setting
