Description

  • Manage the machining process, including selecting/designing workholding, CAM programming, and simulation.
  • Collaborate with quality control (QC) teams to ensure proper inspection processes are in place.
  • Provide technical support to shop floor personnel during part launches and throughout the production process.
  • Implement LEAN methodologies to drive cost savings & efficiency improvements
  • Work in SolidWorks/CAD software for design of custom tooling/fixtures

Profile

  • Proficiency with Mastercam for 5-axis milling.
  • Experience designing complex workholding solutions for challenging parts.
  • Strong knowledge of modern cutting tool and toolholding systems.
  • Proficient in reading Blueprints and applying GD&T.
  • Experience working with hard metals.
  • Strong mathematical skills.
  • Vericut experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Solidworks or other equivalent CAD software is a plus.
  • Mill/Turn experience is a plus.
  • A proven track record demonstrating the required skills and experience is highly preferred.

Job Offer

  • Base salary $100,000 - $120,000 based on level of experience
  • Annual cash bonus incentive based on company performance
