A growing precision machine shop in the Daytona Beach area is hiring a CNC Maintenance Technician on 2nd shift (3pm to 11pm). You will keep CNC machining centers and production equipment running, from preventive maintenance to fast breakdown repair.
What you will do:
- Perform preventive maintenance on CNC machines and manufacturing equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and lubrication system issues
- Troubleshoot machine breakdowns to minimize downtime
- Replace worn or damaged machine components
- Perform machine alignments and mechanical adjustments
- Read mechanical drawings, manuals, and schematics
- Assist with machine installations, relocations, and equipment upgrades
- Keep accurate maintenance records and work orders
- Work with production to resolve equipment issues
- Follow company safety policies and OSHA requirements
What you need:
- 3+ years of industrial or CNC maintenance experience preferred
- Experience maintaining CNC lathes and machining centers
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and lubrication systems
- Comfortable with precision measuring tools and standard hand tools
- Basic electrical troubleshooting preferred
- Welding and fabrication a plus
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
Equipment experience a plus: Okuma, Haas, Doosan, Miyano, Mori Seiki, and Fanuc-controlled machines.
