CNC Machinist
PDS Tech Commercial
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set up and operate machining equipment while ensuring products meet strict quality and production standards. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented machinist looking for a long-term position with the potential for permanent hire.
Location: Warsaw, IN
Pay: $28.00 per hour
Shifts Available: Weekend Days, Weekend Nights, and 2nd Shift
Employment Type: Temporary-to-Hire
Job Responsibilities
Set up and prepare CNC lathes, mills, and machining centers for production.
Monitor machining operations to ensure products meet quality and quantity standards.
Inspect finished products and verify measurements using precision measuring instruments.
Record production data through the DPI terminal and maintain accurate count cards.
Support daily production activities and assist with additional cell responsibilities as needed.
Participate in ongoing process improvement initiatives.
Perform additional duties as assigned, which may include non-destructive testing, cell support, mass finishing, injection molding, and polishing.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent, plus 2 years of machining experience operating CNC lathes and/or mills; or
Four semesters of verified vocational or high school machine shop training, plus 1 year of CNC experience.
Ability to set up CNC machines independently.
Working knowledge of precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, calipers, comparators, and indicators.
Ability to repeatedly lift approximately 60 pounds.
Comfortable working in a team-oriented, cellular manufacturing environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and production standards.
