CNC Machinist

Advanced CNC machining skills, including work holding, tooling, setup and teardown, fixture and tool offsets and program editing. They must be able to read and understand drawing/prints, use Quality Control measuring tools to ensure a quality product is produced and understand 'G' & 'M' codes to edit machine codes.

Shift and Schedule: First Shift, 6:30 am - 3:00 pm

Our client is looking for a candidate who can effectively setup and operate CNC equipment. They must be able to read and understand drawing/prints, use Quality Control measuring tools to ensure a quality product is produced and understand 'G' & 'M' codes to edit machine codes. They will instruct an operator in the loading, machining process, unloading, deburring and any other functions required to complete the operation step for the part being set up.



Requirements:

- Experience with Haas or Okuma machines
- Minimum 5 years of CNC Machinist experience
- Advanced CNC machining skills, including work holding, tooling, setup and teardown, fixture and tool offsets and program editing
- Know how to use micrometers, calipers, height gauges, depth gauges, and any other measuring device required to ensure a quality product is being produced.
- Knowledge of quality control measuring tools
